Biorevitalization

Biorevitalization is a procedure of micro-injections with a hyaluronic-acid-based preparation, used to improve skin hydration and selected skin-quality parameters. At Skinique, choosing a procedure starts with a skin assessment and a clear plan.

Book a consultation

We will assess your skin and find out whether biorevitalization is the most suitable option.

Good to know

Unlike fillers, biorevitalization is not meant to add tissue volume or change facial contours. Preparations differ in composition, hyaluronic-acid properties and intended areas, so they cannot be chosen by name alone.

When biorevitalization may be suitable

The procedure can be considered if you want to:

  • improve the comfort and hydration of dehydrated skin;
  • make the skin surface smoother and visually more even;
  • reduce the visibility of fine lines related to dryness;
  • complement a well-considered skincare plan.

When it may not be the best choice

If the main concern is active acne, rosacea or dermatitis, pigmentation, pronounced scarring, volume loss or tissue laxity, a different approach is usually needed. Sometimes the better first step is adjusting home care, getting a skin condition under control, another procedure, or a doctor’s consultation.

How the plan is made

During the consultation we discuss your goal, health information, current medication and previous procedures. If biorevitalization is justified, I select the preparation, the area and the treatment plan. After the procedure we assess recovery and the result before deciding on the next step.

Treatment areas

Depending on the preparation, the face, neck, décolletage or the skin of the hands can be treated. The eye area and other sensitive zones are assessed with particular care.

How the procedure works

1

We clarify your health information and make sure the procedure can be performed.

2

The skin is cleansed and disinfected; a topical anaesthetic is used if needed.

3

The preparation is administered as a series of small injections in the chosen area.

4

After the procedure you receive personal recommendations for skincare and the recovery period.

After the procedure

Common temporary reactions

Small papules, redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising can appear at the injection sites. They usually subside gradually.

For the first 24–48 hours treat the area gently and avoid intense exercise, heat and active UV exposure. You will receive full recommendations after the procedure.

Possible complications

Less commonly, infection, prolonged swelling, inflammatory nodules or an allergic reaction are possible. Very rarely an injection can affect a blood vessel and cause serious complications.

When to seek help

Contact the specialist immediately or seek urgent medical help if pain increases or is unusually strong, the skin changes colour markedly, swelling grows rapidly, vision or breathing problems appear, or there is fever or signs of infection.

What results to expect

Biorevitalization is used to improve skin hydration, comfort, smoothness and overall appearance. It does not replace methods intended for pronounced tissue laxity, volume loss, pigmentation or scar treatment. How pronounced and long-lasting the result is depends on the preparation, the area, the initial skin condition and further care.

How many procedures are needed

The number of procedures depends on the preparation, the skin condition and the goal. We discuss the plan at the consultation and adjust it based on the result where needed.

Contraindications and limitations

The procedure is not performed, or is postponed, if there is an active infection or marked inflammation in the injection area, an acute illness with fever, or a known allergy to the preparation’s ingredients. Aesthetic injections are not planned during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Blood-clotting disorders, blood-thinning medication, a history of severe allergic reactions, autoimmune or immunosuppressive conditions and recent procedures in the same area must be assessed beforehand. Do not stop medication prescribed by your doctor on your own.

Price

Biorevitalization: 150–250 € per procedure

The price depends on the preparation, the volume and the treated area. I explain the exact cost at the consultation. The consultation is paid separately according to the current price list.

About the specialist

Frequently asked questions

Are biorevitalization and fillers the same thing?

No. Fillers are meant for volume or contour correction; biorevitalization works with skin hydration and quality.

Is biorevitalization painful?

During the procedure you feel a number of pricks, pressure or brief burning. A topical anaesthetic can be used if needed.

When will the result be visible?

In the first days papules and swelling can affect how the skin looks, so the result is not judged immediately. I will explain the most suitable time to assess it depending on the chosen preparation.

How long does the result last?

There is no single answer. It depends on the preparation, the area, skin condition, lifestyle, sun protection and further care.

Can the procedure be done in summer?

Yes, provided you can follow sun protection and the aftercare recommendations. It is better not to schedule it right before intense sun exposure, a trip or an important event.
